Masquerade

We live in a crazy, mixed up; mixed up, yet so beautiful world. The beauty of nature is the fact that it is natural. As human beings we have evolved to bring on the fantastic concept known as adaptability, which seems wonderful, almost obvious at the outset though unknowingly we become obsessed with it. Obsessed to such an extent that we lose our very identity or masking ourselves to suite society. Do we make society or does society make us...
Wish the rain the washes the earth of its blemishes if any would wash these masks off...

Wonderful thought...

Nature remains natural because of the power it has. Man is but a speck in that vastness. Man has to co-exist with other men and with nature. Each man is different having a different mind set. In the process of co-existing, to give space for another, there came tolerance. Tolerance is absolutely necessary. Sometimes, voluntary and when not it has come to be imposed.
Therefore there is no masking as such. It is the illusion of co existence that makes man what he is. But only because man has the power to tame the mind, the ultimate object would be to rid the mind of all vices. The washing off of blemishes, in my humble opinion rests not in the hands of the beautiful rain, it rests with us.
But you have 'romanticised' rain, so beautifully!!!

True that each man/woman has a different mindset. This leads to "free-will" and the so called free-will is not really free. Its sort of shared and therefore shaped by a group better known as civil society rather than each individual.

Regarding the 'romanticizing rain', oh yes, i love the rain. I only compared rain to a possible emotion to overcome the mask, implicitly.
